Meet the staff! 

Mrs. Muehlbauer- Silverbrook Orchestra Director

Mrs. Kitzke - Orchestra Support/String Instructor

Mrs. Kitzke is a violin/viola instructor from Jackson. She runs Heartstrings Violins and has offered lessons for 20+ years. She attended UW-¬Milwaukee where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts - Music Performance (violin). After moving to Jackson 15 years ago, Mrs. Kitzke coached UW-WC's Washington County Youth Orchestra in West Bend. In 2011, she joined Kettle Moraine Symphony as a first violinist and is presently a member. She is also the director of the Schauer Center Youth String Orchestra based in Hartford. From 2013-2016 she taught individual and group lessons as well as assisted in leading sectional rehearsals at Hartford Union High School. Beginning in the fall of 2016, Mrs. Kitzke accepted a new support position (YAY!!) as String Instructor for Silverbrook Intermediate and West Bend High Schools. 

Outside of class, she spends time with her husband of 22 years (!) and is Mom of a 7th grade daughter and a son that is attending UW-Whitewater. She can be found spending endless summertime hours gardening, but also enjoys scrapbooking and traveling.
