Who are McParents?
We are all McParents. By enrolling your student(s) in McLane Elementary School you are a McParent! This parent group is a non-profit organization with a mission of improving and enhancing the McLane Elementary experience for students, teachers and the community.
What do McParents do?
The McParent group meets monthly during the school year. The goal is to plan, organize and execute events and activities for the betterment of the students, teachers and McLane community. Our fundraising events and activities are the only form of fundraising for the school.
Would you like to help? There are several committees and events that would benefit from your expertise, time and energy. You may choose to head up a committee, work on a project from the comfort of your home, organize an event or outing, work on marketing and public relations and so much more.
How do I get involved?
Please join us for the first McParent meeting of the year. The meetings are held the 3rd Tuesday of every month. at 6:30 PM in the McLane Cafeteria. During each meeting, we hear updates from Mr. Kasik and staff, discuss current projects/events, and brainstorm ways to support the school, students and teachers. Whether you wish to volunteer, or just listen to what is happening at the school, you are always welcome. We are very proud of our school and our parent group. We have accomplished many wonderful things and are looking forward to the new school year.
