When you research, you need to give credit for information you use, whether it’s a quotation, paraphrase, photo or graphic. Claiming information that you copy from a book, subscription database, or the Internet can be considered plagarism. Copyright protects everything, except ideas and lists (like telephone books). It is important to give credit when credit is due.
