Having two schools in one building and more than 1,900 students provides economies of scale. For students, that means opportunities. There are more class choices, clubs, co-curriculars, and athletics than at most other area high schools. Many classes offer college credits, or career ideas and skills, or knowledge to examine interests and pursue goals. Review the detailed information below.
A Wealth of Opportunities - Youth Apprenticeships
The Youth Apprenticeship (YA) program available to juniors and seniors at East and West High Schools allows students to gain employability and occupational skills on the job and in school. It is a one or two-year program that integrates two youth apprenticeship-related courses and work-based learning.
