February PBIS Fair Park Elementary School Activity

This month students of all grade levels are participating in acts of kindness. Students are completing their kindness bingo sheets, and filling out acts of kindness strip. The strips are looped together creating a link that decorate the halls.

Goal: These cards are designed for students to be more intentional with what kind acts can look and sound like. These acts of kindness allow students to reach above and beyond their daily acts of kindness and support creative, persistent awareness in how to treat others. The goals have been adapted to each grade level based on developmental, academic, and cognitive abilities to support the whole child.

• Kindergarten goal: Students will be asked to perform 3 acts of kindness all in a row.
• First Grade goal: Students will be asked to perform 3 acts of kindness in a row on each Tic Tac Toe board (2 per paper, thus creating two finished boards with 6 total acts of kindness)
• Second Grade goal: Students must complete 5 acts of kindness in a row to complete card
• Third Grade goal: Students must complete 5 acts of kindness in a row to complete card
• Fourth Grade goal:Students must complete “black out” rules for BINGO. This means they must perform ALL acts of kindness on their card in order to complete the card.
