General Enrollment Information
Enrollment is completed online through New Student Online Enrollment in Skyward Family Access.
ENROLL NOW for the current 2024-2025 school year
Enrollment for upcoming 2025-2026 school year (starting Fall 2025) will open in early January 2025
Complete an application for each student who is:
- Age eligible for kindergarten - must be 5 years old by September 1st of the school year enrolling into:
- 09/01/2024 for the current 2024-2025 school year
- Entering kindergarten and did not complete the WBSD 4K program
- New to the West Bend School District
- Attending a private school in the WBSD attendance area but wishing to attend a WBSD public school
- Re-enrolling in WBSD after a previous withdrawal (moved and returning to WBSD, open enrolled out of WBSD, returning from homeschool).
- Newly approved to open enroll in to WBSD or awaiting approval to open enroll in to WBSD

How to Enroll
Enrollment is completed online through New Student Online Enrollment in Skyward Family Access.
1. Students attending WBSD must live in the district attendance area or have been approved to open enroll into WBSD. Proof of residency is required for all enrollments and must be provided prior to a student's first day of attendance. If you are experiencing homelessness or are otherwise unable to provide proof of residency, please contact the District Registrar for assistance at 262-306-2612.
To complete enrollment, a child's original birth certificate, immunization records, and proof of residency are required. Documents can be uploaded into Skyward as PDFs or images within the enrollment application, mailed or dropped off at the WBSD Education Service Center, or emailed to documents@wbsd-schools.org.
Examples of acceptable proof of residency include: wage statement, water, gas, electric, cable, satellite, or landline phone bill; government correspondence such as property tax bill, Wisconsin "W2," Food Share, or housing assistance letter (printed statements from Access.gov can be used as residency support; current lease agreement valid at the time of enrollment. Driver's licenses and USPS change of address forms are not acceptable as proof of residency.
2. Families will need a Skyward Family Access login to complete online enrollment. If you do not have a WBSD Skyward Family Access account*, use the ACCOUNT REQUEST LINK to obtain a temporary login and password to access online enrollment.
*If your child attends a parochial student in the boundaries of the WBSD, an account may already be assigned to you . Use the FORGOT LOGIN/PASSWORD LINK to retrieve your login credentials.
3. Families with a WBSD Skyward Family Access account can use the link below to begin an online enrollment application. If you’ve forgotten your Login/Password, use the FORGOT LOGIN/PASSWORD LINK then watch for an email containing a link to reset your account.
4. Once you have your account info you may log in to begin your application.
