Our School

Decorah Elementary School is part of the West Bend School District in West Bend, Wisconsin. It is a K-4 grade school with 355 students. 

As Decorah Eagles, the staff holds high expectations for learning potential for all students.
We also strive to ensure that every student feels connected, safe, and challenged at Decorah. 

Our Mindset

Our highly qualified staff leads with a mindset of “Whatever it Takes” to help children grow academically and socially. Teaching students The Decorah Way concepts of being safe, respectful, responsible, and ready to learn is one way that we build the school community,
a safe environment, and a sense of belonging.

Our Details

The enrollment of Decorah Elementary is about 370 students. We have 22 teachers,
which includes art, music, and physical education teachers. Our students have access
to a number of other professionals such as a school psychologist, counselor, talented and
gifted teacher, ELA and math interventionists, English Language Learning teacher, and

Our Community

Decorah Elementary, like all the elementary schools in the West Bend School District, is a neighborhood school. We are located at 1225 Sylvan Way, next to Ziegler Park and near
