After School Clubs and Activities

Badger is excited to announce the opportunity for all  7th and 8th grade students to participate in after school activities and clubs. These will be offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays from 3:20-4:15.

The offerings are free for the students. *Some may have an extra fee if they require additional equipment or transportation off campus.

The activities and clubs will be supervised and or taught by adults who work at Badger.

Tuesday Clubs 3:20-4:15

Art Club:  Do you wish art class could last all day long? Or are you bummed because you weren’t able to fit an art class into your schedule? Use this studio time to explore different art techniques and develop your skills as an artist. With Mrs. Bloedel and Mrs. Bartelt in Room 147. *Cap of 25

Food Artists: If you’re looking to partake in delicious food and learn a new and useful skill, this club is for you. From tasty drinks to flavorful snacks, this club will be sure to satisfy you. Mrs. Lotter and Mrs. Streicher in Room 120 ***Cap of 15

Mafia Club: Mafia is a role play game told by a storyteller. Join this club if you enjoy mystery, suspense, creativity, and deceit. It is similar to “Among Us” but with no technology. No two games are the same! Mrs. Jackson’s Room 223. *Cap of 20


Wednesday Clubs 3:20-4:15

Creative Expressions Club: Let your creativity shine! This club will showcase and develop your talents in writing, crafts, and scrapbooking. You will have the freedom to create a variety of crafty scrapbook pages to document special memories as well as unleash your linguistic skills on paper (with a published author herself!) Mrs. Tortomasi and Mrs. King in Room 218. *Cap of 20 students

Sheepshead Club: Are you of German descent with family members who play the card game Sheepshead? Maybe you’ve seen this popular tournament at German Fest in West Bend? This complicated yet fun card game needs to be taught to the younger generations before it dies out! Come and learn how to play arguably the best card game there is! Mrs. Jackson in Room 223. *Cap of 10


Thursday Clubs 3:20-4:15

Forensics Mini Camp: Do you wish to improve your skills in public speaking? Would you like a jump start on the forensics season? Join us for a mini-camp in which we explore different categories, both individual and group, humorous and serious. We will also help you narrow down your interests and build your confidence with developing your piece for the upcoming season. Mrs. King and Mrs. Jackson Room 223.

Walking Club: Are you interested in getting outside, enjoying the beautiful autumn weather and colors, and enjoying each other’s company while making new friends? We will walk and talk around West Bend, with possible stops at nearby parks and even Candy Man downtown. Please come dressed for the weather with walking shoes. Meet Mrs. Lotter and Mrs. Knoske in the Cafeteria. *Cap of 20

Clay Club: Learn how to create ceramic pots using the pottery wheel. When you are not on the wheel, you can get creative with clay using your hand-building skills and make what you would desire. Meet in Mrs. Bloedel’s Art Room 147 *Cap of 12

Wrestling Club: “Wrestling is a sport in which you can be a GIANT regardless of how big you are.” Are you considering going out for the Badger Wrestling team in November? Well, join this club to get a taste of wrestling, learn some great moves, as well as start training your body! This club is open to GIRLS and BOYS! Coach Jackson & Mrs. Jackson Room 223 and Balcony
