Special shout-outs to captains Jayden Hanvey and Carson Pizzino for their excellent leadership and determination. Wrestlers who earned first place wins included: Fiona, Jaxson, Connor, and Prudence, and Braeden House earned the quickest pin.

Speaker David Syzdek will be talking about "He Must Become Greater" - John 3:30. All students are welcome, you do not need to be an athlete to participate, and there will be snacks!

- Thanks to all the students who submitted a pumpkin in our fall coloring contest. Student Council members and staff voted for their favorite 3. In random order, the winners are: Raelynn Dorow, Josie Kletzine, and Aubrey Palmer. Congratulations!
- There were so many amazing Halloween costumes yesterday. From various food products like hot dogs and pickles, to fun characters like Gru and Minions, and even terrifying creatures like witches and frat boys! Which costume is the best overall? Now's your chance to cast your vote using the "Halloween Costume Contest" Google form linked onto the house canvas calendar. Voting ends at the end of the school day today.
- Are you looking for something fun to do after school now that the 6-week clubs have ended? Why not join Builders Club? Builders Club meets once a month on the first Tuesday of each month. Mrs. Jackson & Mrs. Lotter are looking forward to seeing you in the 2nd floor MAC on Tuesday, November 5th.

- Attention all boys interested in playing basketball. Tryouts begin on Tuesday, October 29th. 7th Grade will be from 3:30pm - 5:30pm and 8th grade will be from 5:30pm - 7:30p. Remember you need to have your registration and a current physical uploaded onto Arbiter Sports in order to participate. Any questions please see Mr. Hoogester in Room 212.
- Attention Badger Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Our first meeting will be on Wednesday, October 30th from 3:30pm - 4:15pm in room 212. We will have high school speakers come to talk to us about "Advice on Following Jesus in Middle & High School" Remember you do not need to be an Athlete to join FCA. All are welcome! Oh by the way.....there will be snacks! Any questions please see Mr. Hoogester in room 212.

The Badger Cross Country team topped off their season with their final meet last night at the Wisconsin Lutheran College Grade School Challenge.
Our girls took 8th out of 22 teams with Chloe Engelhardt leading the pack. Maci Spaeth, Lyla Hammer and Sienna Hesseltine-Kuehl rounded out the top 4 finishers for Badger!
On the boys side, Dylan Connor, Collin Weber & Cade Feldkamp brought home medals, placing in the top 25! Colton Malecha was the 4th finisher for the Badger team, solidifying a SECOND PLACE team finish out of 28 teams.
Congratulations to everyone on an outstanding season!

Congratulations to the Badger Cross Country team on a top performance last night at our Conference meet! 98% of the team ran a Personal Record!
In the 6th/7th grade race for boys, Colton Malecha, Ephraim Loether, Brinton Emery and Eli Ressler scored for the team.
In the 6th/7th grade race for the girls team, Kennedy Marek, Mikayla Wimmer and Ava Stolt scored.
The 8th grade girls battled in their race with Maci Spaeth, Sienna Hesseltin Kuehl, Chloe Engelhardt, Abby Wiedmeyer and Lyla Hammer scoring for the team. The girls took 2nd place overall by a mere 1 point.
8th grade boys came home with both team and individual conference championships. Congratulations to Dylan Connor for his first place finish! Along with Dylan, Colin Weber, Cade Feldkamp, Isaac Loether and Lukas Mayer scored to bring home the win.

- Congrats to our Badger students who participated in the mountain bike race at Camp Tesomas in Rhinelander! They competed among 786 athletes on a new course of challenging trails.

- Student Council will meet today in the 3rd floor MAC. It's the first meeting of the year and all students are welcome to attend. Meeting goes until 4:15.
- The 7th grade Girls Basketball team won their game against Grafton 27 to 17. The top 2 players with the most point were Avery Zirbes with 8, and Kaylee Schultz with 6. The teams play this afternoon at home - that's after school in the gym. See you there!
- The weather may have cooled off finally but the Badger cross country team was still hot! 83% of the team received PRs last night on a hilly course!
