Map Singers

The Music At the Park (MAP) Singers are a group of 4th grade students who choose to have more music time by being on the singing team of our school.

They practice once weekly BEFORE school starts....at 7:30am. Our chorus performs in the community for such events as the Washington Co. Enchantment in the Park, light the city Christmas tree with the Mayor, various Senior Centers, the Wash. Co.Humane Societies "Festival of Trees", the National Anthem for a high school basketball game and many other community events. We end our singing season with recording a live performance in front of our very own school audience!

Mark your calendars to help our community celebrate December

All permission slips are available for download below.  Please print out, complete, and return.

If you are worried about forgetting your shirts and Santa hats/antlers, please feel free to bring your shirt and hat to school a day or two ahead and keep them in your locker.

Play Fair

PlayFair is a group of 4th grade leaders who have been trained to lead group games at recess. Leaders are out during lunch recess for:

  • K & 1st on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
  • 2nd & 3rd on Tuesday and Thursday

Everyone is welcome to come join in the game of the day. The goal is for all students to have a place they can have others to play with, make new friends, and learn some new games. If a student wants to play they just need to meet us by the Play Fair flag that day. It is a lot of fun! Hope to see you there.

Safety Patrol

Safety Patrol is a student-run safety program at Fair Park that places trained 4th grade teams of students at the crosswalks to assist in the safety of all Fair Park students. Teams of 4-5 students assist younger students in crossing the parking lot and nearby streets before an after school. Students serve for an entire school year.

Students interested in being on Safety Patrol should contact:  Mr. Sternig.
