The purpose of the National Honor Society is to encourage the development of character, foster a dedication to scholarship, promote togetherness through leadership, and stimulate a desire to render service unto others. These goals boil down to our four pillars: Character, Scholarship, Leadership, and Service.

Interested in Joining?
At the start of your junior/senior year, you will receive a letter of invitation if you have a 3.4 cumulative GPA or higher. To officially apply, you must then either email me or come speak to me directly about your interest in joining the club. From there I will share all the necessary digital documents for you to submit an application, acquire adult recommendations (one teacher and one non-teacher/non-family member, and verify with the Career Readiness Center that you have completed at least 20 service hours prior to applying. Completing these steps ensures that you meet the expectations of the four pillars listed above.

2024-2025 Meetings

Our meetings are always held on the first Monday of each month at 2:30 in the Main Library space. Unable to attend a group meeting? A makeup meeting is offered on Wednesday of that same week at 7am in Mr. Arens' room (2538). Monthly meetings are mandatory, so if you have a conflict, let your advisor & officers know as soon as possible:

1. Send an email addressed to the advisor and all four officers.
2. Briefly state your reason for the absence.
3. Attend the makeup meeting on the following Wednesday
