GEDOII is a GED Option #2 program of the West Bend School District. West Bend East and West Bend West High Schools send students, who are 17 years old, in their senior year and at least 3 credits behind their graduating class. This program is designed for students who are not successful in the traditional high school setting and have the ability to work independently. The mission of GEDOII is to create a community of empowered learners in an atmosphere of mutual respect and trust. Every student will be inspired and challenged to learn, grow and accomplish academic, social and vocational goals.
West Bend Virtual Academy
-- Is part of the West Bend School District that is publicly funded and authorized by the West Bend School Board.
-- Features children who are students of the West Bend School District in grades K-12
-- Has a curriculum approved by the West Bend School District that is appropriately aligned with state educational goals and standards.
-- Allows high school students to earn all required credits and receive a diploma from West Bend East High School or West Bend West High School.
-- Features live classes with students and teachers.
-- Provides a local education mentor for support to students and families in the WBSD.
-- Requires an at home learning mentor to support student participation in learning.
